About the Scholarship

“I was once a student at Crafton Hills College who came from an unstable household and faced both academic and financial challenges. I was able to reach where I am today because of the generosity and mentorship of others. Professor Rich Hughes III was one of the most influential figures in my life, and I wouldn’t be where I am without him. I know many others feel that way, and I wanted to honor him in one of the many ways he supported students by establishing this scholarship upon his retirement.”
