Welcome to Crafton Hills College!
There is no such thing as a typical Crafton Hills College (CHC) student — they come in all ages, with different backgrounds and unique interests. What they do have in common is the desire to learn. And our mission is to advance the educational, career, and personal success of our campus community through engagement and study. At CHC, we provide quality instruction for students with distinct goals, whether that's choosing a major and earning a two-year associate's degree, transferring to a four-year university, or taking select classes in order to advance at work.
CHC offers more than 50 majors in the liberal arts and sciences, vocations, and technical studies, including our notable Fire Science Program and Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic Program, the primary trainer for paramedics in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. We also have the distinction of being ranked the top community college in the Inland Empire when it comes to degree/certificate completion rates and course retention/success rates.
Our faculty members are experts in their fields, and because of our small class sizes, professors are easily accessible, giving students one-on-one time to ask questions and receive advice. Learning also goes beyond the classroom, with students regularly taking field trips as part of their coursework. Our beautiful campus, nestled in the rolling hills of Yucaipa, boasts a vibrant student life community, with activities, clubs, and honors programs open to everyone. Students make enduring connections, friendships that last long after they've completed their educational journey.
At CHC, we take pride in being an inclusive and welcoming place, never forgetting our motto: "Great teachers. Great support. Great campus." We hope you will come for a visit, and ultimately join us as part of the next generation of Roadrunners!
