Crafton Hills College's inaugural Girls Empowerment Camp, led by Fire Academy Cadre Captain Theresa Rivera and supported by local fire agencies and female firefighters, provided 22 young women with hands-on fire service training and mentorship, inspiring confidence, empowerment, and a belief in their potential to succeed in the field.

The Artlands exhibition at CHC featured works from seven artists and an interactive reception on March 5. The exhibit runs until March 28, with more artwork at The Artlands Creative gallery in Redlands.

CHC Fire Academy 112 cadets showcased their dedication to service by volunteering at the Run Through Redlands on March 2, earning praise for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to the community.

On February 26, Crafton Hills College's Outreach and Marketing teams collaborated for a special Yucaipa High School Takeover event, designed to help seniors commit to their next step--enrolling at CHC.

On February 26, CHC was filled with energy as students attended Grad Fest. They submitted graduation applications, picked up milestone pins, and ordered their caps and gowns.

Despite women's growing dominance in college degree attainment in California, they remain underrepresented in STEM fields, but four Roadrunner women--Yakira Huff, Jazmyn Garcia, Katherine Granados, and Jo-Ann Lumintang--are breaking barriers and encouraging others to pursue their passions in science and technology.
