On November 5, residents from Plymouth Village visited Crafton Hills College for an engaging and informative tour of the Public Safety and Allied Health (PSAH) Building. During their visit, the group learned about Crafton’s Respiratory Care, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, and Fire Technology programs, gaining insight into how these hands-on programs prepare students for vital roles in healthcare and public safety.
Field trip coordinator Vicky Miller shared that the residents found the tour “very interesting and informative,” adding special thanks to Interim Associate Dean Amanda Ward, who “was so knowledgeable and entertaining as she led us through the department.” Miller also noted that the group “agreed we would like to return next year to visit Crafton Hills,” and expressed appreciation for the hospitality, saying, “Thank you for lunch and all you did for us.”
During their visit, residents also learned about the College’s new programs, expanded facilities, student services, institutional priorities, as well as how an investment in the Crafton Hills College Foundation directly supports student success. Many of the Plymouth Village residents shared that their children or grandchildren had attended Crafton Hills College, making the visit especially meaningful.
Crafton Hills College was honored to host the Plymouth Village community and looks forward to welcoming them back to campus next year.
