Assistive Technology Hardware

Crafton Hills College provides a variety of the latest assistive technology hardware for our SAS students. Students may use any of the following devices at our Technology Success Center. In addition, if students qualify, they may see Suzanne Delahanty at the TSC or to check-out smart-pens/tablets or other devices for home and school use:

  • Android tablets with CHC SAS assistive tech apps
  • Laptops with CHC SAS assistive technology programs

  • C-Pen Reader Scanner Pens 
  • Headsets with microphones
  • Headphones
  • Digital audio recording devices
  • Large print keyboards
  • Ergonomic keyboards
  • Joystick, foot and trackball mice

  • Height adjustable desks and chairs
  • FM Hearing Devices

Note:

  • Device assignments & hardware availability is on a first come first served basis and is determined by the students official CHC SAS accomodations plan & evaluation by our Alternative Media/Assistive Tech. Specialist.
  • Devices may only be checked out after the student has made their semester contact with SAS counseling services and received device training with our Alternative Media Specialist.
  • A device check-out contract must also be submitted electronically.
  • Students must return device(s) at the end of each semester, during finals week.
  • If re-checking out the following semester: a new SAS semester contact appointment & a new digital device contract must be completed.
