Assistive Technology Hardware
Crafton Hills College provides a variety of the latest assistive technology hardware
for our SAS students. Students may use any of the following devices at our SAS Lab
in CCR, 102. In addition, may make an appointment with the Substitute Assistive Tech
to train on the devices they are assigned by the LD Specialist or SAS Counselor.

- Android tablets with CHC SAS assistive tech apps
- Laptops with CHC SAS assistive technology programs

- Large print keyboards

Note:
- Device assignments & hardware availability are on a first-come, first-served basis and are determined by the student's official CHC SAS accommodations plan as evaluated and assigned by the LD Specialist and/or the SAS Counselor.
- Devices may only be checked out after the student has made their semester contact with SAS counseling services and received device training with our Substitute Alternative Media Specialist.
- A device check-out contract must also be submitted electronically.
- Students must return device(s) at the end of each semester, during finals week.
- If re-checking out the following semester, a new SAS semester contact appointment & a new digital device contract must be completed.
