Getting Started Using GI Bill® Benefits

Getting started using your Veteran Education benefits is easy.  First, tell us who you are.

I am a:

Veteran

I have served or am currently serving in a branch of the U.S. Military or U.S. Coast Guard.

• New Student - I will be using my benefits for the first time.
• Transferring from another institution - I have used my benefits previously at another institution and am transferring to CHC.
• Continuing Student: I have used Veteran Education benefits at CHC during the previous term.

Spouse / Dependent

I am the spouse/dependent of a veteran who has served or is currently serving in a branch of the U.S. Military or U.S. Coast Guard.

• New Student - I will be using my benefits for the first time.
• Transferring from another institution - I have used my benefits previously at another institution and am transferring to CHC.
• Continuing Student: Select this option if you have used Veteran Education benefits at CHC during the previous term.

Vocational Rehabilitation

I am receiving Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits from the V.A.

• New Student - I will be using my benefits for the first time.
• Transferring from another institution - I have used my benefits previously at another institution and am transferring to CHC.
• Continuing Student: I have used Veteran Education benefits at CHC during the previous term.
