—Crafton Broadened Her Horizons!

Julia Gayheart, a graduate of the class of 2020, describes her experience at Crafton Hills College as a very special time in her life. Receiving her early education entirely through homeschool, Crafton provided an introduction into her first public education environment and enabled her to graduate from high school a year early. “It gave me the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone, meet new people, and discover a whole new world of academia.” says Gayheart.

During her time at Crafton Gayheart was able to pursue a variety of interests and classes that she had not considered before. She had an opportunity to participate in the honors program and enjoyed being a part of that community. “The honors program and faculty truly made my experience special and encouraged me to achieve new heights of excellence.” says Gayheart.

Gayheart is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Spanish at UCLA. with the hope of entering the world of education as an instructor or advisor. “Crafton gave me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and pursue excellence in a way that I had not experienced before. Thank you, Crafton Hills College!”
