In a collaborative effort between Redlands and Yucaipa Adult Schools and Crafton Hills College, incoming freshmen transitioning from the adult schools are ready to start their journey at Crafton with information and resources that they will need to succeed. A celebration for the 14 students who participated in the summer bridge program was held at Crafton Hills College on August 8, 2019.  Here to celebrate were the California adult education program director, Emma Diaz, the principals from the Yucaipa-Calimesa and Redlands Adult Schools, Dana Carter and Robin Gonzalez, Crafton Hills College administrators, President Kevin Horan, student services deans, Kirsten Colvey and Joe Cabrales, and director of EOPS Rejoice Chavira. Students were inspired by guest speaker, Jesse Felix who was an Adult Ed Student from Redlands and a former EOPS student at CHC.
