BS in Respiratory Care Application Process
Students can apply and enter the Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care Program at Crafton Hills College at any time throughout the year.
Step 1: Apply to Crafton Hills College at CCCApply
Step 2: Complete a Crafton Hills College BS in Respiratory Care Application and submit the application.

Step 3: Make an appointment with Rejoice Chavira or Brooke Clement in counseling to determine eligibility (see below).
First, to be accepted into the program, applicants must provide Official Transcripts and meet with a counselor and complete the Counselor Verification Form which will be used to verify that the applicant has completed the following:
Preadmission requirements:
- 27 or more general education units on the 2025-2026 CHC AA/AS GE or Cal-GETC (Applicants must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher). If you have Cal-GETC certification, please bring a copy of the certification to your meeting with the counselor.
- The "Golden 4" (as defined by the CSUGE)
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited institution identified in the Crafton Hills College Catalog (official transcripts required)
In addition, the applicant will also need to provide evidence of the following at their meeting with the counselor:
- Minimum of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Students who do not have the RRT credential upon admission to the program may be admitted as a CRT; however, prior to graduation, they must achieve the RRT credential.
