Naming Opportunities

Leave a lasting legacy at Crafton Hills College by naming a building, classroom, lab, or other space on campus with an endowed gift. Endowments are permanent funds in which the principal is held in perpetuity and only the investment income is expended annually (payout). Endowment gifts provide long-term sources of funding for the College. Funds support activities not just for one year, or even one generation, but forever.

An endowed fund is established through a minimum gift of cash or stock totaling $25,000, which can be made over a period of five years. Endowments can be very specifically focused or they can be generally designated for the most critical program or need. An endowment can be named in honor of an individual, colleague, or family member as well as an organization, foundation or corporation.

Endowment support areas include:

• Facilities Endowment

• Student Scholarships

• Program Endowments

Endowment funds are invested prudently to ensure they can sustain current and future needs. The Foundation's Investment Policy is available for more information on how funds are invested.
