Crafton Hills College Sunset Hike to Zanja

All students and employees are invited for a sunset hike to Zanja Peak on Wednesday, March 9 at 3:30 p.m.The group will meet on campus in parking lot C and caravan to the Old DumpTrail trailhead off Oak Glen Road.The 4.3-mile round-trip hike will have a 1400’ elevation gain. Hikers are asked to bring water and a snack, wear comfortable tennis shoes or hiking shoes/boots, and bring a headlamp or flashlight as it will be getting dark on our way down. Zanja Peak is the highest point of the Crafton Hills, a subrange of the San Bernardino Mountains. The group will take in the sunset views before starting the descent.
