Dr. Delmy Montenegro-Spencer

Delmy is the Vice President of Student Services. She is a first generation college graduate and loves advocating for students success in-and-outside of the classroom.

Mariana Moreno

Mariana works in the CHC Transfer Center where she dedicates her time to helping our transfer students thrive. She is the CHC full-time professor of the year for 2019-2020, a member of the Latino Faculty, Staff, and Administrators Association, and active in the organization of the Nuestra Graduación Sash Drive-Up Event on J uly 24th. She was recently recognized by University of Redlands’ Arc of Purposeful Leadership Initiative for her stellar leadership in the Transfer Center. Mariana has M.S. in Counseling and Guidance from California State University San Bernardino, a B.A. Psychology with a minor in German from California State University San Bernardino, and a P.P.S. Isidro Zepeda

Isidro is a Professor of English at CHC. He holds an M.A. from California State University, San Bernardino specializing in English Composition and Applied Linguistics & Teaching English as a Second Language. Isidro is dedicated to equity in the classroom. He is an outspoken advocate of the inclusion of class materials that foster understanding and appreciation of the contributions of Latinx authors. He has worked at CHC since 2016.

Omar Moreno

Omar Moreno is an adjunct math faculty dedicated to student success. Omar recently volunteered at the Nuestra Graduación Sash Drive-Up Event on July 24th. When asked what inspired him to come support the graduation he said, “I have a niece that I watched walk for high school during COVID. I saw how much it meant to her, and I wanted to support our students in the same way.” Omar is a graduate of the University of Riverside with a MS in Statistics.

Shirley Juan

Shirley is a Professor of Mathematics at CHC. She has a B.A. Mathematics and a M.A. Mathematics from CSUSB. She currently works as a faculty lead for the community of practice where she works to conduct research and offer trainings related to teaching best practices that support equity in the math classroom. Shirley’s parents came to the U.S. in the 1970s from Uruguay. She is proud to be a first generation college student.

Danielle McCoy

Danielle is a CHC Alumni with an AA in Liberal Arts from Crafton Hills College; she has also earned a BA in Mathematics form CSUSB, and MA in Curriculum and Instruction, from University of Redlands and a MA in Mathematics from CSUSB. Danielle currently serves as a faculty chair for the department of mathematics.

Josh Robles

Josh is a Professor of Mathematics at CHC. He has a B.A. Mathematics and a M.A. Mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona. Josh specializes in statistics and probability. He currently spearheads the effort to include no cost textbooks in statistics classes at CHC. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, and organizing anything he can on a spreadsheet. His spirit animal is a squirrel.

Angelia Baccari

Angelica Baccari is a Part-time Professor of Mathematics at CHC. She has a B.A. Mathematics and a M.A. Mathematics from CSUSB. During her lectures she likes to share personal anecdotes, in particular those of her summers in Durango Mexico. Angelica is proud to be a firstgeneration college graduate.

Ernesto Rivera

Ernesto is a Counselor and Co-Chair of the Counseling Department. His desire to enter a profession where he can make a difference for others is a personal inspiration that comes from his own experiences, being a migrant student, and those of his family and close friends. He has concluded that with his experiences, life lessons, bicultural and bilingual skills and Masters in Educational Counseling, he will be able reach and influence the lives of students; enabling students to achieve their educational goals and dreams.

Yvonne Olivares, PhD

Data Scientist (and Crafton Researcher) with 15+ years’ experience designing & executing research that goes beyond the symptoms to identifying root causes and solutions. Dr. Olivares has spent her career improving people’s lives through research, be it globally-impactful economic changes to locally-impactful service ones. Texas & Mexico native who volunteers her research expertise to nonprofits who’re improving people’s lives.

Rebecca Abeyta

Rebecca is an example of how you can balance life and work. She raised her kids with values and love while focusing on her work and always advocating for our students. Her oldest kid is a proud student at CHC reflecting the dedication she has for our college. Rebecca is part of our Classified Senate executive board and participates in different committees campus and district wide.

Dr. Ericka Nunez Paddock

Often labeled as "inspirational, Dr. Ericka Nunez Paddock attributes her ability to motivate others to the skills she has gained from being physically disabled since birth.She has a deep rooted passion for working with 18 to 25 year olds, strives to be a tireless advocate for underrepresented groups, and truly enjoys helping others reach their potential. Ericka is the Director of the Department of Student Life.

Herberth “Alex” Jaco

Alex was born in El Salvador and migrated to the US in search for a better life when he was 17. A former Dreamer, he attended Valley College and transfered to CSUSB and received his B.S. in Chemistry. Alex works for the CA Adult Ed Program at Crafton and in Spring 2021 he will received his M.S. in Counseling. He has been part of the Crafton family since 2013. P.S. He loves pupusas

Reyna Uribe

Reyna, is an Evaluator for the Admissions & Records Office at Crafton Hills College. Prior to her role as an Evaluator, Reyna began her career with Crafton’s Student Services as an Admissions & Records Technician. Her continuing passion to work with students in Higher Education has inspired Reyna to pursue a major in School Counseling, College Emphasis at the University of Redlands. Reyna’s future dream is to utilize her School Counseling degree as an International Counselor.

Kristin Flores

Kristin was born and raised in the Inland Empire and mother of three sons. Her Grandfather came to the U.S. from Aguascalientes Mexico in 1911 and became a citizen in 1985. She was raised in a multicultural home with traditional Hispanic values of family and servant to the community. Kristin served her community as a Den leader with Boy Scouts of America for over 8 years. She has worked for the San Bernardino Community College District for the last nineteen years in Student Services. In her current position as Admissions and Records Evaluator she gets to be hands on with our campus community and with our student success. Kristin enjoys helping other succeed in their goals and see their dreams to fruition.
