Accreditation Site Visit

Representatives from community colleges throughout the state, including 2 college presidents, faculty, administrators and staff, visited CHC beginning September 30 to conduct a site visit. The team assessed if CHC is adhering to the four standards of accreditation, as set by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). They wrapped up the visit on October 2 when the campus celebrated with frozen yogurt. Final results on the accreditation recommendation will come to the college in February 2015.
