The CHC Library offers faculty a variety of services including course-related library instruction, textbook reserves and the ability to have an active role in our collection by suggesting materials for the library.

Information Literacy Instruction

 

Instruction Request Form

 

Instruction services are available in-person and online (synchronously and asynchronously).

Customized course-specific instruction is available. Please complete the Library Instruction Request Form at least 2 weeks prior to your requested date. 

Drop-in workshops are available on a variety of topics. Faculty are encouraged to offer students extra credit for workshop attendance. Attendees receive a certificate of completion following workshop attendance for proof of attendance.

Guides are available on a variety of research skills, topics, and by CHC department.

Library Collections

Librarians select materials to support the campus departments, programs, and initiatives. 

 

Library Classroom Use

The CHC Library classroom (LRC 208) is intended primarily for library related instruction and training. Library instruction classes are given priority in scheduling the library classroom. No regularly scheduled classes are to be held in the classroom with the exception of Library Science courses.
