Nursing Assessment and Care

Illness, injury or personal health improvement. Physical Exams, prescription medications and laboratory work if needed.

Medications and Supplies

Minor health problems and injuries. Also available are free male condoms.

Health Information and Literature: Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, pregnancy, birth control, smoking cessation, nutrition and improving eating habits, substance abuse and binge drinking and more.

Do You Need Emergency Contraception?

Prevents pregnancy up to 120 hours after intercourse.

Screening Tests

Blood pressure, vision & hearing*, TB*, pregnancy*, anemia*, blood sugar* and cholesterol screenings*

Fall 2023 TB Testing hours

Mondays and Wednesdays 1-4 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-5 p.m.

Immunizations

Tetanus/Diphtheria*, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis*, Measles, Mumps & Rubella*, Hepatitis B*, Hepatitis A/B combination* and Flu*.

Women's Health Clinic:

Pap Smears*, birth control pills*, emergency contraception*, breast cancer screening exams and instruction.

Mental Health Services

Depression, stress testing and counseling, crisis intervention and short-term situational counseling* for relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress and depression. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist available for psychotherapy*.

Referrals

Low cost community clinics and agencies, family planning services, HIV / STD's testing clinics, mental health counselors and agencies, physicians and dentists.

NOTE: Appointments are needed for nurse practitioner, marriage family therapist, immunizations, TB skin testing, pap smears and birth control pills, laboratory work, nutrition, stress and depression testing, hearing and vision screening.

Confidentiality is guaranteed by law. All CHC students who pay the health fee are eligible for services.
