Coach

Kayle HurstKayle Hurst – Head Women's Swim Coach, Crafton Hills College

Kayle Hurst brings over a decade of coaching and aquatics leadership experience to her role as Head Swim Coach at Crafton Hills College. A CCCAA-certified coach and former collegiate swimmer, Hurst has successfully built and led programs at both the NCAA and community college levels, including serving as Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving at Chaffey College and  Head Coach at Concordia University Irvine.

Her coaching career is marked by championship success, including leading Concordia’s men’s team to the 2019 PCSC Conference title and earning recognition as PCSC Coach of the Year. Beyond competition, she is committed to student-athlete development, fostering an environment that emphasizes academic achievement, athletic growth, and personal responsibility.

In addition to coaching, Hurst is an experienced educator, serving as a Lecturer in Kinesiology at Cal State University San Bernardino and former faculty at Chaffey College. She holds a B.A. in Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis in Rehabilitation and Coaching from Concordia University Irvine and a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

Dedicated to advancing the sport of swimming and supporting her athletes, Hurst is an active member of the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) and the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).      khurst@craftonhills.edu
