What impact does the growing world population have on Earth? How will non-renewable resources like fossil fuels and greenhouse gases change humanity? The study of the environment integrates physical, biological and social sciences to examine the role of humans on our planet.

What opportunities might it lead to?

The associate of science degree in environmental science can lead to entry-level work as an environmental technician or consultant, or future careers in industry, research, academics and many other areas. It is also the foundation for four-year college studies in environmental science.
