Topics include supply and demand, consumer theory, production theory, and price formation in competitive and noncompetitive markets, theory of comparative advantage and international trade. Issues including scarcity, market equilibrium, elasticity, production and cost theory, market structures, and market failure are also examined.ECON-201 is offered during the Spring 2026 session.
