American Sign Language II

Continuing introduction to American Sign Language as used by the Deaf community in the United States. Study of a more advanced vocabulary of approximately 400 additional signs, ASL sentence structures and social conventions involved in ASL. Discussion of Deaf Culture, norms, and values within diverse members of the Deaf community. NOTE: This course may require attendance to Deaf community events.
