Publish Date: Oct. 29, 2026

In partnership with the Outreach team, CHC's Counseling department hosted Crafton's annual Counselors' Luncheon on Friday, October 16. High school counselors from Redlands Unified, Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified, San Bernardino City Unified, and Banning High School heard from Crafton coordinators, counselors, directors, and associate deans about the college's academic programs, career pathways, and student support services.
Presentations highlighted resources such as Financial Aid, EOPS, Basic Needs, and Student Accessibility Services, along with academic opportunities in MESA/STEM, Honors, and Transfer Services. Counselors also learned about Crafton's Public Safety and Allied Health programs, including Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Phlebotomy, Respiratory Care, and Radiologic Technology. Following the presentations, attendees enjoyed lunch and had the opportunity to participate in an optional campus tour.
The event strengthened partnerships with local high schools and equipped counselors with valuable information to help their students navigate the transition to higher education.
