Redlands Unified School District Leadership Team Visits Crafton Hills College

Crafton Hills College (CHC) welcomed Redlands Unified School District (RUSD) administrators to campus on July 29–30 for the district’s annual All-Management Professional Development Meeting, held in the Barbara L. Smith Event Center. RUSD Superintendent Juan Cabral opened the event with a welcome, followed by remarks from CHC President Kevin Horan, who expressed appreciation for the strong partnership between RUSD and CHC.

Horan highlighted the importance of collaboration, particularly through Dual Enrollment opportunities that help create affordable pathways for local students to achieve their educational goals. He also introduced CHC’s Student Services and Instruction teams, who work closely with RUSD to support students.

The two-day visit provided an opportunity for RUSD leaders—many of whom had not previously visited the CHC campus—to participate in tours and experience the college firsthand. Hosting district partners on campus reinforces CHC’s role as their community college and strengthens the connection between K–12 and higher education in the region.
