EMT Graduation 1

On May 26, Crafton Hills College celebrated the graduation of three cohorts of its Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, marking the completion of an intensive 16-week training for students in the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sections.

The ceremony highlighted the growth and achievement of students who balanced rigorous coursework, skills training, and often significant personal and professional responsibilities. Faculty and administrators emphasized both the difficulty of the program and the resilience of the graduates, many of whom are now preparing to continue into paramedic training or the Fire Academy.

Speakers, including EMT faculty, the Associate Dean of Public Safety, and the college president, praised the dedication of students, families, and instructional staff who supported the program. They also underscored the strong sense of community built within the cohorts and the transformation students experienced from the start of the course to graduation.

The event was both a celebration of completion and a recognition of the next step in students’ careers in emergency medical services, where they will continue serving their communities in high-pressure, high-impact roles.
