Starting Fall 2025, Crafton Hills College will switch to a new course numbering system. This new system, called the Common Course Numbering (CCN) system, is a state-mandated initiative (AB-1111) aimed at simplifying student transfer and ensuring uniformity in course numbers across California Community Colleges. Courses identified as common will feature a "C" in their catalog numbers (e.g., ENGL 101 will become ENGL C1000). Some subject area prefixes will also change to align with statewide standards (e.g., POLIT will become POLS). For more details on the common course numbering system (CCN) students are encouraged to meet with an academic counselor.

This noncredit course focuses on the principles of nursing care necessary to meet the hygiene, comfort, and safety needs of patients in an acute care environment. Current CNA state certification required or a recent graduate of the Crafton Hills College CNA program pending certification can apply. Application and related forms are provided at the information session.
- Credit Type: Noncredit course.
- Limitation on Enrollment: Must attend a mandatory information session. Once provisionally accepted, must attend a mandatory orientation, meet all health requirements, and pass a clear background check. Must be 18 years or older. No high school or GED required. Must be co-enrolled with CNA/N-632 and CNA/N-633. Must have an active CNA certificate to enroll unless just completing the Crafton Hills College CNA program within 1 month.(waives requirement of active CNA cert.
- Corequisite: CNA/N-632 and CNA/N-633.
