  • Economic analysis applied to issues and problems facing the U.S. economy. Economic problems are analyzed with the elementary tools of economics as a way of evaluating alternative choices with respect to actual or hypothetical courses of action. Topics include supply and demand, market structures, inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, monetary policy, and international trade.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
