  • A multi-cultural perspective on traditional and contemporary food choices. Considers customs associated with food in relation to religion, geography, health/medicine, human survival and symbolism. The impact of socio-economics, phycological considerations and implications, historical events, population movements, and geography are also discussed.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
