  • This course incorporates the concepts from Music Theory I. Through guided composition and analysis, the course will include fundamental two voice contrapuntal principles and chromatic chord functions and voice-leading. The lab portion of this course applies and develops the rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic materials of Music Theory II through ear training, sight singing, analysis, and dictation.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
    • Transferability: Course credit transfers to both CSU and UC.
    • Prerequisite: MUSIC 101.
