  • Intermediate study of American Sign Language as used by the Deaf community in the United States. Study of increasingly more advanced vocabulary, complex sentence structures and conversational skills, as well as in-depth analysis of cultural topics. Attendance to Deaf Community events may be required.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
    • Transferability: Course credit limited transfer CSU & UC. Contact a counselor for details.
    • Prerequisite: ASL 102.
    • Departmental Recommentation: Eligibility for ENGL C1000 (formerly ENGL 101). Concurrent or previous enrollment in ASL 115.
