  • This introductory course examines the major physical, cognitive/language, social, and emotional developmental milestones for children, both typical and atypical, from conception through adolescence. While also studying developmental theories and investigative research methodologies, students will observe children as well as evaluate and analyze characteristics of development.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
    • Transferability: Course credit transfers to both CSU and UC.
    • Alternate Listing: This course is also offered as CD-105H.
