  • Review of pharmacology principles for the EMT which includes the role of opioid antagonists and epinephrine in the treatment of out-of-hospital patients. This course also includes the assessment of blood glucose levels.

    • Credit Type: Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.
    • Corequisite: EMS-020.
    • Departmental Recommendation: Be able to incorporate basic math skills into the instructional activity.
