Page Titles

  • Capitalize all important words in a title, as if you were capitalizing the title of a book.
  • Avoid the terms "Crafton" or "CHC" as they are implied by context.

Headings

  • Do not use Heading 1 (h1) in your page. It is already being used by the page title.
  • Do not use headings just to enlarge sections of text. Headings should be used for organization and accessibility only. When misused they will be confusing to users of screen readers.
  • Do not bold headings
  • Do not italicize headings
  • Use heading styles like an outline as shown below with your content  (I have indented for clarity. Please do not indent.)

Correct:

Heading 2
  Heading 3
  Heading 3
    Heading 4
    Heading 4
  Heading 3

Incorrect

Heading 1
    Heading 3
  Heading 2
      Heading 4
Heading 1

Text

  • Text should be left-aligned; not centered, right-aligned, or justified.
  • Do not underline text that is not a link.
  • You may use italics or bold text for emphasis, but not both on the same text.
  • Do not bold entire paragraphs.
  • Do not italicize anything longer than a sentence.
