Mark Dennis McConnell earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Music in Composition from the University of New Mexico. As Assistant Professor of Music at Crafton Hills College, McConnell directs the CHC Jazz Ensemble, the CHC Percussion Ensemble, and the CHC Contemporary Ensemble. Professor McConnell hosts a recital every semester, often performing his own compositions.
