Recommendation 1: Integration of Plans - Crafton Hills College
Skip to main content

Welcome to the portion of the Crafton Hills Council web site devoted to the campus response to Recommendation #1 of the Accreditation Team findings. This area of the site will be an archive of the entire work and process used to develop our response to the recommendation. Note that there is also an online form available for anyone to provide feedback on the work contained here.

A great deal of the work to be done on Recommendation #1 is being developed through workgroups that are held every Friday at 1:30 pm in room LR348. These sessions are open to all interested stakeholders in the CH community, and anyone with an interest in helping with the work on Recommendation #1 is not only invited, but encouraged to attend.

The Charge – Develop the response to Accreditation Recommendation #1

Recommendation 1: As was noted in recommendations 1 and 2 of the 2002 Accreditation Evaluation Report and in order to meet the standards, the college should integrate all planning processes and documents into a meaningful, comprehensive, long-range institutional plan to accomplish its mission and realize its vision. Additionally, the college plan should be integrated into an overall district strategic plan. (Standards LAA, LB.2, LB.3, LB.6, Ill.A.6, Ill.B.2.b, Ill.C.2, Ill.D.1.a)

The college should move immediately to:

  • Complete the implementation of a cycle of systematic integrated planning, evaluation, prioritization, resource allocation, implementation, and re-evaluation. Note: this is being accomplished through the program review process
  • Identify quantitative effectiveness measures (key performance indicators), gather baseline data and establish institutional planning goals.
  • Revise the Educational Master Plan to include long-term resource allocation.
