WHY Choose Nursing Services?

The Nursing Services Career Pathway combines three certificates in one semester. This allows the successful graduate to work at multiple facilities in an entry level position. CNAs, HHAs and ACNAs are considered essential critical healthcare occupations.  Employment is expected to increase by 13% between 2019 and 2024, with 1156 open jobs over the five years.  The pandemic has significantly increased the need in the Inland Empire.  Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to take the state exam to become certified as a CNA and obtain a state HHA certificate. Once certified, they are eligible for full-time positions with benefits in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, home care, assisted living and hospitals.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE?

  • Learn skills to demonstrate safe and competent care for individuals of all ages.
  • Apply principles of effective infection control, safety, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate techniques to promote dignity and promote independence.

This program offers training on evenings and weekends (exception to the eight clinical days in the ACNA course). Successful completion of all courses is required to finish this program.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES MIGHT IT LEAD TO?

Successful graduates will be prepared to work in intermediate care facilities, long term care facilities (pediatric and adult), assisted living, home health, Hospice, and hospitals (acute care).

Take the next step towards a career in Nursing Services.
