Dear Roadrunners,

Welcome back! The fall semester is underway, and it’s great to have our students and employees back on campus. We are starting the semester with more than 8,000 students enrolled, an increase of approximately 5% over last fall.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our outreach, enrollment, and student support efforts leading up to the start of the semester.

Students have even more options at Crafton this year with several new degrees and certificates, including programs in Vocational Nursing, Environmental Science, Elementary Teacher Education, Social Justice Studies, Law, Public Policy and Society, and Transitional Kindergarten Teacher Education.

Our first Vocational Nursing cohort is also underway, adding another important healthcare pathway for our students and helping meet workforce needs in our region.

The Crafton Hills College Foundation’s annual fundraiser will be held Wednesday, September 23, in the campus quad. This year’s event will be a casual, Latin-inspired evening with food, live and silent auctions, and opportunities to support Crafton students. Employee tickets are available at a discounted rate through September 13. I hope you’ll join us.

There is a lot happening on campus this fall, and I encourage you to participate in the events and activities taking place throughout the semester.

Thank you for everything you do to support our students and our college. I look forward to a successful fall semester.

Best regards,

Kevin Horan
President, Crafton Hills College
