The Student Art Exhibition at CHC featured the artworks of students enrolled in fall studio art classes. The art represented the courses offered this semester, with each student showing techniques from sculpture, three-dimensional design, two-dimensional design, drawing, life drawing, painting, and special projects classes. Exhibited artworks included carved soapstone and plaster sculptures, plaster relief wall art, architectural models, wearable clothing made of plastic food wrap, drawings, paintings and designs. The gallery exhibits are curated and organized by Department Chair and Art Faculty member, Renée Azenaro; and department Tech, Mike Bedoya, assists in the installation and care of the gallery throughout the exhibitions. During the reception for the artists on December 11th, their family and friends viewed the art which students created within the fall semester in a professionally organized exhibition space, culminating in a creative community experience.
