STEM Workshop – Row Integration by Parts

The Row Integration by Parts workshop presented by Dr. John Rock from Cal Poly Pomona was an interactive workshop that drew an incredible 55 students.  Integration is a mathematical process that allows you to calculate an area under a curved line.  Traditionally, a single problem of this type can take up to 45 minutes to solve (this is considered fast).  Dr. Rock’s update to the Integration method allows students to break the problem into smaller pieces that, when combined, provide the final answer in approximately 15 minutes (taking us from fast to ludicrous fast).
