API Heritage Month ’22: The Great Outdoors with Christina Roh

Thursday, April 28th 12noon-1 p.m. Via Zoom

Join us for a conversation with climber Christina Roh as she discusses her life and experiences in the great outdoors, where organizations like the Explore Fund Council work to make the outdoors more inclusive. She will discuss the API community's significant involvement in hiking and other outdoor activities.

In addition to top writing contest winners having a meet and greet with our very own Crafton Hills College President, Dr. Kevin Horan, and the opportunity to present an excerpt of your entry, CASH PRIZES will be awarded for the following:

  • $300 for the Crème-de-la-Crème Grand Prize!
  • $200 for the Second-Place entry!
  • $150 for the Third-Place entry!

But wait... there are even more opportunities to win!!

  • Up to $150 for the "Most Inspirational!" entry!
  • Up to $100 for use of "Creativity" entry! (e.g. essays, alternative story endings, poetry) and...
  • Up to $100 for "Technical Writing" entry (e.g. lab report or journal from robot contest)

Four Athenians run away to the forest only to have Puck the fairy make both of the boys fall in love with the same girl. The four then run through the forest pursuing each other while Puck helps his master play a trick on the fairy queen. In the end, Puck reverses the magic, and the two couples reconcile and marry.

Priority F, April 26 - 28

  • New students who have completed the student success process or met the pre-enrollment assessment waiver criteria prior to the registration date for Priority F.

Open Enrollment: April 29 - August 14, 2022

  • All students in A - F priorities as well as:
  • New students who have completed the student orientation, and mathematics and English placement process
  • Returning students who have not attended the immediately preceding semester
  • Students who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • High School students who have been approved for Dual Enrollment to attend courses.
