Good morning Roadrunners,

To promote the health and safety of employees, students, and members of the community working and learning on the district’s campuses and facilities, the SBCCD Board of Trustees approved a resolution to mandate COVID-19 Vaccinations for all SBCCD Employees and Students at its September 23, 2021, meeting.

The resolution requires that all students be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption, effective March 11, 2022, to be able to register for in-person courses effective Summer 2022. A person is considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 two (2) weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or after two (2) weeks after they have received a single dose in a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson and Johnson/Janssen). Those who have college campus-approved exemptions will be required to test weekly effective summer 2022. Testing will be offered onsite at each college campus with more information to come regarding testing requirements and guidelines.

On February 7th you received an email from COVID Clinic with instructions on how to upload your vaccination card or apply for an exemption. Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you do not see this in your inbox.
