A student shall be placed on probation if:
- Academic Probation - The student has attempted at least 12 units and has earned a GPA below 2.0 for all work attempted.
- Progress Probation - The student has enrolled in at least 12 units and has received a "W", "I", or "NP" in 50% or more of all units enrolled.
Students on probation must attend a probation workshop and meet with a counselor to sign a contract. Workshop appointments are limited so call and make an appointment as soon as you can. Students who are on probation will receive an email at their Crafton email account. Please check you student email account regularly.
Please see the probation calendar on this page for workshop dates and times.
To sign up for a probation workshop, or ask general questions about probation, please call 909-389-3450 or 909-389-3458 or chat with an available online counselor below.
Online advising is now available for students facing academic or progress probation. This dynamic service is designed to provide synchronous online sessions for students who might otherwise not be able to visit a Student Success Advisor in-person. These online services utilize Cranium Cafe, an interactive and secure online meeting hosting portal.
Currently online Student Success Advisors are available to discuss your probation status on Wednesdays between 4:00 - 6:00 pm PST or Fridays between 2:00 - 4:00 pm PST.
You may meet with a Student Success Advisor by "Knocking" on the virtual door of an available advisor (indicated by the green button on their Cafe Card, shown below).
You will then be prompted to login to your WebAdvisor account. After doing so you will be sent to the advisor's virtual lobby.
What you need to participate:
- Any desktop or laptop with a camera (preferred method) OR
- A tablet or smartphone device (iOS Apple devices require download of the Cranium Cafe App)
- Chrome browser
- Headphones (optional)
