The ChessNuts are students on the CHC campus who love playing chess and love learning more about the game. As the club grows, we will begin to have discussions on openings, endgames, and general strategy, and we will continue to discuss the possibility campus and/or local chess tournament participation. We meet every Monday at 11:30am in the cafeteria, and the club is open to any student who loves to play chess, or would like to learn how to play chess. Fall 2010Crafton Hills College is a fully accredited institution. Units earned at CHC will transfer and financial aid is available to all who qualify.
Yes, the college is currently on Probation from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The campus community is constructively addressing the issues that led to Probation and the Crafton Council is overseeing the work and progress of committees working the Accrediting Commission's recommendations.
