Off Campus Scholarships :

The scholarships noted here are only a few of the thousands of scholarships you might want to research on the internet or at any local library or bookstore. CHC has been informed of the following scholarships. Please contact the appropriate source for more information. Please check back, as more off-campus scholarships are added as we get them.

40 & 8 GEORGE B. BOLAND NURSES TRAINING TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is determined on financial need and academic achievement. The recipient must be currently in a nursing program and obtaining prerequisites from Crafton Hills College. Recipient of this scholarship must be currently attending or planning to transfer to a local college/university. Recipients must be attending a college/university in the State of California.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN
Awarded to re-entry women who can show financial need; with educational goals clearly defined and who is a resident of the area served by Redlands Branch AAUW.

AMERICAN BUSINESS WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION-SAN BERNARDINO VALLEY CHAPTER
This award is based on scholastic standing, community interest and involvement, goal setting, and correlation of the academic program to career goals. The recipient must be a U.S. citizen, seeking a business or professional career and have a 2.5 GPA or higher.

ARTHUR H. GOODMAN SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to energetic women and minority students graduating from community college and moving into a four-year university program. Students residing or attending college in San Diego, Orange, Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino counties are eligible. Students must have maintained a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a strong background in community service. Scholarships are awarded to individuals who will better their communities through their chosen career path and history of helping the underserved. DATATEL SCHOLARSHIP
The criteria are a mix of academic merit, personal motivation and achievements including employment and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in at least six credit hours (part-time). These scholarships require a nomination from CHC campus. HISPANIC ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
Students at campuses within HACU-member systems and districts are not eligible to apply to HACU scholarship programs unless the campus they attend is also a member of HACU. Student must be attending a HACU-member institution at the time scholarship awards are made. Visit HACU's website at http://www.hacu.net/ for a complete listing of HACU members. INLAND EMPIRE SCHOLARSHIP FUND HISPANIC STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Awarded to Hispanic students planning to attend college or university in the fall. Scholarships are available to all Inland Empire Hispanic students who are currently enrolled as full time student in a college or university.

KIWANIS CLUB OF GREATER SAN BERNARDINO AREA SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to a recipient who has a desire to contribute to their community. Personal achievements, leadership ability, community involvement and financial need are considered in selecting of recipient.

KIWANIS CLUB OF YUCAIPA VALLEY SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to a student graduating this school year from Crafton Hills College and who is a resident of Yucaipa or Calimesa. Student must show high academic achievement and have contributed time to community service.

LARRY D. KELSEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Award given to a member of the American Association of Respiratory Care, California Association of Respiratory Care Chapter II and the Crafton Hills College Beta II Club. Student must have attended at least one Chapter II CSRC meeting. Student must have a 2.0 GPA and be in good standing in the first year Respiratory Therapist Program and planning to finish the second year program; complete a one-page essay on the reason for completion of the Respiratory Therapist Program, non-smoker preferred and a need for scholarship.

NORTHSIDE IMPACT SCHOLARSHIP
The recipients must have demonstrated leadership qualities in their school, classrooms, or community must be an East Valley resident actively enrolled in an accredited educational institution. Submit an essay (typed) 300 words that includes the following: your educational and career goals; whey you have selected your sated goal. Make reference to your leadership qualities and any economic or personal difficulties you may have in your essay, if any. Please submit two letters of reference.

ST. BERNADINE MEDICAL CENTER AUXILLARY HEALTH CAREER SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to an individual who has been accepted to study a health career curriculum at an accredited college, university or technical school; must be a resident of California and citizen of the United states; must have 2.75 GPA or higher.

USA FUNDS ACCESS TO EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Awarded to currently enrolled college students or incoming college students who plan to enroll or enrolled in full-or half-time undergraduate coursework at accredited two-or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. Eligible applicants include students attending or planning to attend law school, medical school or other professional-degree programs. GED recipients also are eligible, have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less as documented on federal income tax return; U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizen; are not currently in default on a federal education loan.
