Student may apply for two broad categories of scholarships.
Many students are familiar with the CHC scholarship offerings and have, in fact, applied for them in the past. The application period for the 2012 - 2013 academic year will open on Friday, October 7, 2011 and close at noon on Friday, March 16, 2012. This process is entirely online and requires students to answer questions to establish a profile and determine initial eligibility for a variety of scholarships. In addition, students must write an essay describing eventual career goal, any community service experience and condition of need. Campus personnel are available to help with any part of the application process.
Throughout the year various agencies invite students to apply for scholarships. Check this site frequently as the types and numbers of open scholarships vary from week to week.
