Engineering has finally arrived at Crafton Hills College. For the first time during the Spring 2013 semester, CHC will offer ENGR 101, Introduction to Engineering. This courses is designed for students interested in pursuing further study and a career in the field of engineering. On November 14 and 19, the STEM Pathways Grant will sponsor informational meetings for students interested in engineering to learn more about the course. Our engineering instructor, Professor Corey Hardin will be there to answer questions and he and grant staff will discuss the course, introduce the various projects student will work on and describe the support services now available for students interested in engineering.
The meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 14th at 12 noon and Monday, November 19th at 1 p.m.. Both meetings will be held in LADM 201. Students who cannot make either of the information meetings, BUT are still interested in the ENGR 101 course can contact Dr. Robert Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 909-389-3566.
The Introduction to Engineering course is made possible through a Title V federal grand and the work of the STEM Pathways grant team at Crafton Hills College.
