The Crafton Hills College Theatre Arts Program will be holding auditions for the upcoming Fall 2012 theatre season on Monday, August 27th at 7 p.m. in PAC-101 (Auditorium).

The Fall 2012 season includes four shows: "Diversity in the I.E.," a monologue show funded by a California Story Grant sponsored by the California Council for the Humanities; "An Evening of Dance" choreographed by Lucas Manning; a Shakespeare project entitled "Love is a Many UnSplendored Thing," a darker look at Shakespeare’s view of love; and the annual improv show, directed by Steve Bean a former member of the
Los Angeles Groundlings improv group.

Individuals interested in auditioning should prepare the following:
  1. A monologue – Find and memorize one monologue from a published play. You may select your own monologue, or choose one of several pre-selected pieces available outside the theatre office located in PAC 111-1.
  2. A song from a Broadway musical - You may select and prepare your own piece or you may choose to learn and perform one of the selected pieces that are available outside the theater office in PAC 111-1. Please bring the sheet music to the audition so that the accompanist can play it.
Those attending will also participate in a short dance audition as a part of the audition process.
