A Night of SondheimCrafton Hills College Musical Theatre Workshop presents "A Night of Sondheim" featuring songs from Company, A Little Night Music, West Side Story and Assassins on Friday, May 13 in the LRC. A Silent Art Auction will also be held. The Art Viewing and Silent Auction begin at 7 pm, music starts at 8 pm. Admission is $5 at the door. Light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. The event is jointly hosted by the Music & Art programs.

Chess Tournament May 14The First Annual Crafton Hills Open Chess Tournament will be held in BC-101 (near the Bookstore) on Saturday, May 14, beginning at 11 a.m. This community event is open to the public, and is not a rated tournament. All ages & skill levels are welcome. Admission is $5 if you pre-register, $7 at the door. Pre-registered participants also receive a free parking pass; parking is $1 at the door. Spring Student Art ExhibitionThe CHC Art Gallery will host the annual Spring Student Exhibition May 12 - 20. The exhibit will open with the Artists’ Reception from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 12. The Art Gallery is in the LRC and is open from 11 am – 3 pm, M-Th. The Reception will feature live music by Beyond the Dead and Winter War, and rap and poetry by Spoken Word club members.
