Crafton Hills College Respiratory Class #33 Graduates 30

YUCAIPA: The Crafton Hills College 33nd Respiratory Care Graduation ceremony took place at the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on Thursday, December 15. The 30 care-givers were honored by Faculty Chair Bradley Franklin, Medical Director Dr. Richard Sheldon and guest speaker Dr. Roger Seheult, pulmonologist, of the Banning Specialty Care Center with the Redlands Community Hospital. Certificates were presented by Professor Kenneth Bryson, Professor Reynaldo Bell, Assistant Professor Amber Contreras, Professor Bradley Franklin, and Assistant Professor Michael Sheahan. Crafton Hills College President Gloria Macías Harrison, Dr. Cheryl Marshall, vice president of instruction, and Dean June Yamamoto offered congratulations. Student president Timothy Holcombe addressed the audience on behalf of the graduates.

Timothy Holcombe was awarded top academic honors and Justin Jones received top clinical honors.

Crafton Hills College Paramedic Class #76 Graduates 22

YUCAIPA: The Crafton Hills College 76th Paramedic Class Graduation ceremony took place at the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on Thursday, December 9. The 22 graduates were honored by Program Director Dan Word, Medical Director Dr. Phong Nguyen and guest speaker Captain Josh Stapleton of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department. Certificates were presented by Dr Nguyen, Director Word, Past Director Kathy Crow, President Gloria Macías Harrison, and Dean June Yamamoto and Yucaipa Mayor Dick Riddell congratulated the graduates. Nate Brooks addressed the audience on behalf of the graduates.

Crafton Hills College Fire Academy Graduates 20 Cadets

YUCAIPA: The Crafton Hills College 75th Basic Firefighter Training Academy Graduation Ceremony took place at the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, November 16. The 20 cadets were honored by Fire Academy Chief Dan Sullivan and guest speaker Chief Jeff Frazier of the Redlands City Fire Department. Certificates were presented by Chief Frazier, Crafton Hills College President Gloria Macias Harrison, and Dean of Career Education and Human Development June Yamamoto.

  • Most Inspirational Cadet: Lance Baze was recognized for his exceptional efforts as the Outstanding Cadet of the Crafton Hills College 75th Fire Academy.
  • Equipment Coordinator: Brett Underwood was recognized for his outstanding efforts in ensuring the Academy equipment arrived to each of the fourteen off-campus training sites and for issuing Personal Protective Equipment to the 75th Fire Academy.
  • Academy Achievement Award: Tim Andazola was recognized for his outstanding achievement for receiving the highest overall score in the Crafton Hills College 75th Fire Academy.
