Fundraiser to Help American Red CrossThe Student Senate and the CHC Anime and Book Clubs are co-sponsoring a screening of the animated film “How To Train Your Dragon” on May 4 at 3 pm in CHS 242. $1 Donations will be accepted and snacks will be sold to benefit the American Red Cross Japan Relief Fund.

74th Fire Academy GraduationThe CHC 74th Basic Firefighter Training Academy Graduation Ceremony took place at the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on Thursday, April 21. The 24 cadets were honored by Fire Academy Chief Dan Sullivan and guest speaker Chief Paul Lepore of the Redondo Beach Fire Department. Certificates were presented by Chief Lepore, Vice President of Instruction, Cheryl Marshall, Ed.D. and Dean of Career Education and Human Development June Yamamoto.

How I Learned to Drive at PAC May 6 & 7The CHC Theatre Department presents Paula Vogel’s Pulitzer-winning play, "How I Learned to Drive," at the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 general, $5 student/senior and are available only on the nights of the performances. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. Parking for the event is free. Content is for mature (high school and above) audiences – parental discretion is advised. On April 27 from 12 - 1 pm (College Hour) in PAC 309, guest speaker and counselor Andrew Brett will discuss the issues involved with child molestation.

Spring Dance Performance
The Crafton Hills College Theatre Department is producing an excitement-packed, two-night dance extravaganza on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16. Both shows begin at 8:00 p.m. in the Finkelstein Performing Arts Center on campus. Admission is $5 for students and seniors and $10 for general admission. The public is invited and parking for the evening shows is free.
