President's Message

I am very proud to announce that Crafton Hills College is not only a fully accredited institution, but it is no longer under sanction. Our accreditation has been fully reaffirmed and, as always, units earned at CHC will transfer and financial aid is available to all who qualify.

The college was advised by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges that we “have addressed and now meet all the recommendations made by the previous comprehensive evaluation team.”

I would like to personally thank our CHC faculty, staff, administrators and students for their dedication and hard work, the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor and District staff for their commitment to the process, and the community for their support that led to this successful resolution.

As an institution, we will come out of this experience stronger than ever. We have demonstrated to the Commission that we have sustainable processes in place that align with the best practices in the accreditation standards of clear communication, participative decision-making, and integrated planning and review processes.

We are dedicated to providing broad access to higher education and training for the advancement of our community. We are proud that more than 123,000 students since 1972, and 6,100 current students, have chosen the College as the place to pursue their dreams. Our solid and unwavering commitment is to provide quality service and excellence in educational and training programs. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
