Crafton Hills College offers an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Technology, as well as the State Fire Marshal Accredited Certification courses and a Basic Fire Fighting Academy.

We offer:

  • California Fire Officer Training Cert
  • Fire Fighter I Basic Training Academy Certificate

Getting Started

Students may fill out the Fire Academy application on-line , however, they need to submit the completed application to the Fire Technology Department.

In addition, applications are available for pick-up Monday – Friday, 8am - 4 pm at the Fire Technology Office.

Applications must be complete to be considered.
Applications are to be turned in BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

The following dates are available to submit Fall Applications.

  • June 6, from 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • June 7, from 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • June 8, from 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • June 9, from 8:00am - 4:00pm

  • Respirator Medical Questionnaire
    Only Fire Academy Cadets who have been accepted in the Fall 2011 Fire Academy need to fill out the Respiratory Medical Clearance Questionnaire.
