of Public Speaking is a course in which students develop their oral
presentational skills. After covering the basics of the communication
process, students deliver a minimum of four speeches. These assignments
ask students to generate original speech topics, conduct primary and
secondary research, organize ideas and deliver them in an effective
manner to an audience. SPEECH 100 fulfills the oral communication
requirement for transfer to most four year institutions. Prerequisite:
